Jazzmosis is a six-piece ensemble that plays a repertoire of jazz standards and originals spanning a wide spectrum of musical styles, traditions and influences. The group brings to life the compositions of such jazz luminaries as Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Wayne Shorter and Frank Zappa, among others.

Tight ensemble work, creative arrangements and improvisation characterize the Jazzmosis sound. Featuring a three-piece horn section, Jazzmosis is guaranteed to fill any performance space with a variety of harmonic colors and textures, ranging from the dissonant to the sublime.

Jazzmosis celebrates with reverence the music of America's jazz icons, while at the same time exploring new frontiers of their own. Jazzmosis has also assimilated the influences of other styles and includes in its repertoire selections of Jazz-inflected original compositions and pieces by performers in the funk, rock and blues idioms.
